We are gathering tonight for the reading of the Last Will and Testament of Rock Kilo, founder of the 60's rock band KILO. As you know, RK was lost while trying to rescue his drowning Harley Davidson motorcycle that had been swept up in a flash flood. He loved that bike!
The storied career of the Kilo brothers, Rock, his twin brother, Brewster, and eldest Sid has been told many times, most recently on an episode of MTVs' "Where are They Now, and Who Really Gives a Damn". Suffice to say that their meteoric climb to the top of the Billboard Charts was foreshortened by drugs, alcohol, and puerile sibling rivalry.
In July 1975, the group issued a swan song greatest hits album entitled "Absolute Garbage". The compilation featured a new single "Tell Me Where It Hurts", and a remixed version of "Gettin' to the Bottom of it". Copies can still be found in the cut-out bins at KMart.
